First Day of LawSchool in A burgundy Cape

Hello dolls,

October it’s here and that can only mean one thing, University started on Monday. If you  just started this year I can imagine the excitement and the joy you had in your first day. You had your outfit planned out for at least a week before and all this plans of how amazing your next four years will be. I just started the second year of Law School, so my Monday was a little bit different. I went to school just because I had some paperwork and legal stuff to take care of. Didn’t really cared about the begging speech and I was eager to get things done quickly to meet my friend. I was more excited for her, she just got into Politehnica University of Bucharest. I know how hard she worked to get in and how much she wanted this. As for me, yes, I like Law School, but I have always saw it as a second option, if everything else doesn’t work out I will become a lawyer. So finger crossed I make it as a blogger .

My view on the education system has always been a little bit different than others. I don’t see a reason to stay in class and listen to a bored teacher reading out something from a book. I know to read myself and can do that on my own. The education system it’s like a clothing store with “ one size, fits all” . That almost never works. If everything else changed through the years, the education stayed the same. The system it’s putting out graduates that are the best when it comes to theory but are lacking on the practical stuff. I could go on for hours about this but bottom point is : I’ve always been a self-teaching type of student. I just have to see the subject, read it ones and then I will have a plan of how I can learn it. I can make a blogpost of how to learn for Law School. Under no circumstances I’m saying that school is bad for you, so stay in school and make the most of it.

Now, let’s talk fashion: I bought this cape last winter on sale from H&M and I couldn’t be more inspired to make this choice. Right now this style it’s back in. So I paired with a basic black pencil skirt and to keep it  with the style of the cape, the top has flared arm.
